CARCO's Vendor/Contractor Screening Solution Seeks to Reduce Your Risk When Working with Vendors and Contractors.
Vendor/Contractor screening is a service that all businesses should utilize to ensure they know with whom they are doing business. There could be serious legal implications if you partner with an unethical or criminally motivated vendor or contractor, or one that does not screen its own employees.
CARCO's Vendor/Contractor Screening Solution is an in-depth due diligence program developed to assist your company to qualify and monitor potential and existing vendors and contractors. The program can help you make well-informed and confident decisions when selecting prospective partners and maintaining existing partnerships by ensuring they meet certain minimum corporate standards. By carefully vetting each vendor/contractor, we can assist you in minimizing the potential for future problems. Simply put, CARCO's Vendor/Contractor Screening Solution is designed to minimize your risk and legal liability.
The Sue Weaver C.A.U.S.E was created to promote Consumer Awareness of Unsafe Service Employment regarding the necessity of criminal background checks on service employees and contractors hired to work in or near clients' homes. Founded in honor of Sue Weaver, who lost her life to an unscreened worker in her home, the organization launched their Certification campaign in 2008 to identify companies who perform criminal background checks on workers sent into consumers' homes.
Additionally, the cost of vendor/contractor screening is typically paid for by the vendor or contractor themselves. To further our commitment to the protection of our customers via our Vendor/Contractor Screening services, CARCO has been granted Sue Weaver C.A.U.S.E. Certification, an honor given to companies who demonstrate the integrity demanded by The C.A.U.S.E., and who apply strict background standards when working with service providers seeking certification. In addition to being Certified, CARCO has developed a technology platform for The C.A.U.S.E that will make it easy for Certified companies to maintain compliance with C.A.U.S.E. standards.
