James Snedeker
Executive Vice President and General Manager Inspection Division

Mr. Snedeker joined CARCO Group in 2008. He has 35 years experience in risk management specifically, in property and casualty insurance and reinsurance.

In a position prior to his joining CARCO, Mr. Snedeker was Group Captive National Practice Leader for Marsh USA. The above was preceded by his Operations, Underwriting and New Product Development responsibilities for the Munich Reinsurance Group.

Mr. Snedeker has been a frequent speaker on risk management topics and authored and co-authored various articles in industry publications.

Mr. Snedeker received a B.A. in English from St. Lawrence University and has supplemented his work experience with various courses in accounting, contracts and law at St. John University School of Risk Management and Actuarial Science. He also attended the Strategic Marketing Management Program at Harvard Business School, and the property and casualty underwriting training program at Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company.
